Whenever there is talk of decentralized finance in the Vite and the broader zero-fee ecosystem, the Viva token is often mentioned as a store of value that offers to its holders utility and rewards for staking the token.

Backed by a great team, Viva is a fundamentally-strong inflationary token that boasts of being the first ever staking-protocol built on Vite. Here we look into a basic overview of the coin, what it offers, and what its future is.

Viva: DeFi in the Vite ecosystem

What is the main function of Viva?

Viva, for starters, is a token that allows its holders to stake the token on its Decentralized App so as to earn other tokens from staking pools sponsored by the respective team behind the token (generally). These pools offer a great APR (annual percentage return) that provides value for all stakeholders and allows them to explore new coins and diversify their portfolios. Even other tokens (e.g. ViCat) can be staked for Viva or other tokens (e.g. ViCat) themselves, which allows a holder to increase his holding of a coin of their desire.

Pools are differentiated as follows: locked (where your staking deposit is locked for a particular time frame) or unlocked (where you can withdraw instantaneously), and pools with minimum deposits or without any minimum deposits, or even pools. Pools are of a particular span / time period and deposits should be withdrawn upon completion of the pool.

Other than that, Viva is preparing an array of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) that will enhance its abilities as a token of Vite. Moreover, Viva shares all the features that the Vite blockchain offers: instant, feeless and fast transactions that are environmentally feasible.

How is Viva planning to compete in this competitive market?

Viva offers users trustability and assurance of a long-term nature

We all know that the cryptocurrency ‘industry’ is over-saturated with tons of coins, shit-coins and other tokens that claim to be ‘1000xGem’. What makes Viva different is the USPs it offers: ranging from its own features and the features it derives from the Vite blockchain, the plans it has for the future, the trustability and transparency it offers, its fundamentals and the functioning of its team. In all these metrics, Viva offers great potential: its roadmap reveals a bunch of facilities and services its plans to offer and we notice that it is focusing on the single most important KPI of increasing the TVL (Total Value Locked in its pools) and injecting more liquidity into the Vite sphere. All actions and team capacities are aimed at achieving the aforementioned and all services are launched in alignment with these goals. Viva certainly believes in offering quality over anything else.

What has it achieved on its roadmap so far?

To begin with, Viva was largely distributed amongst several individuals on its very social platforms and outlets (there was no pre-sale, all distribution was free of cost). Initial partnerships with many tokens on the Vite network proved to be extremely successful and the token was eventually listed on ViteX (which too, was a bumper listing). The latest version of the Decentralized App was launched (Mainnet 0.4) which completely enhanced and revolutionized the speed of operating on the Viva platform: what once took several minutes can now be completed in a few seconds. Constant upgrades and new partnerships are a part and parcel of the utility that the token offers.

What does the future hold for Viva? What is it presently working on?

The Viva Roadmap!

Viva is, at present, working on several new features that will make it the go-to coin in the near future. From its roadmap, it is evident that Viva is focusing on the merger with ViteTogether that is the loss-free lottery pools that will allow individuals to stake their Vite as a form of ‘betting’, after which winners will be chosen and the winner will get rewards and their investment, and all participants will be returned their staked value. Soon Viva Games will also be launched, but most importantly still, Viva will launch NFT prize pools that will add tons of value to the project. These pools will allow individuals to stake their Vite/Viva to earn free and cool NFTs on the Vite blockchain! These are the priorities of the team at the moment besides conceptualizing new DeFi services. Another important element to know is that all fees collected through these services will be used to fund staking pools and reward Viva holders.

Other Key Aspects for Viva

Viva is most likely going to bridge to the Binance Smart Contract (BSC) which will attract new users to the Vite ecosystem to take advantage of the feeless structure of Vite and increase the outreach of Viva. This will also allow Viva to easily list on other CEXs and DEXs, further pushing its reach.

Here’s the big revelation that you need to know:- Viva DAO coming soon!!
Yes, Viva has secured an in-principle approval for a DAO SBP sponsorship from Vite Labs (which will be granted after the services are built) and should be made available around Q3 of 2022. This will definitely propel Viva forward and make it more lucrative to investors and holders at large.
